Constitution Carry
The Constitution Carry bill in Texas states that as of September 1, 2021, if you are a legally eligible gun owner that is 21 years of age or older, you may carry your firearms open or concealed without a Texas License to Carry. However, having your License to Carry provides additional benefits. You can carry in more places. The LTC allows you to carry in some places that may be off-limits for constitutional carry. Of course, this all depends on reciprocity agreements and federal gun-free zones.
